Veterinary Specialist Anaesthesia and Analgesia

This is the perfect opportunity for a specialist anaesthetist to enjoy an optimal work-life balance in sunny Australia. As we continue to expand, Animalius Vet is looking for a specialist (Dipl.ECVAA, DACVAA, FANZCVS) to join our anaesthesia team. We are a thriving, proudly independent, hospital providing referrals in dentistry, diagnostic imaging (including CT & MRI), internal medicine, and surgery. Our full-time specialists work four days a week, with no on-call or weekends (our hospital is closed over the weekend).

You would join our existing team of one Dipl.ECVAA, dedicated hospital vets, and experienced anaesthesia nurses. Inpatient & 24-hour overnight care is provided by hospital vets and an intelligent & skilled nursing team. At Animalius, anaesthesia specialists are heavily involved in acute pain management for inpatients across all department, and we run an outpatient chronic pain clinic. Anaesthetists are respected & valued as essential members of our team.

Our hospital is well equipped with GE and Mindray anaesthetic ventilator workstations, GE multiparameter patient monitors, agent monitoring, and spirometry. We have a dedicated portable ultrasound, and access to fluoroscopy, for locoregional anaesthesia.
