Animalius Vet is looking for a Board-certified specialist in veterinary anaesthesia & analgesia to join our anaesthesia team.

We are a thriving, independent, multidisciplinary hospital in Perth, Western Australia. We provide specialist referrals in dentistry, diagnostic imaging (including CT & MRI), internal medicine & surgery. A local veterinary cardiologist performs interventional cardiology procedures in our hospital, utilising our anaesthesia services. Our full-time specialists work four days a week, with no on-call or weekends.

We have dedicated hospital vets for anaesthesia support, inpatient & 24-hour overnight care & a motivated, intelligent & skilled nursing team. Many of our nurses have completed advanced anaesthesia training.

There is also the opportunity to offer referral pain management services in our Dipl.ECVAA-led chronic pain clinic.

Our team is loyal & stable; they will have your back. Our specialists work collaboratively & support each other across disciplines. Anaesthetists are respected & valued as essential members of our team.

We are an organisation unafraid to challenge dogma. We are lifelong learners, solution-focused & fiercely supportive of our staff & referring vets. We hire for values & work hard to keep our team aligned. Staff turnover is low.

Our operating suite is equipped with GE Carestations & multiparameter monitors with agent monitoring & spirometry. Across the hospital, we use several Mindray VETA5 workstations, & each anaesthetic station has a GE multiparameter monitor with capnography (some with agent monitoring). We also have a Piloter mobile ultrasound for regional anaesthesia & access to fluoroscopy when needed.

Perth offers real work/life balance, career opportunities for partners, great schools, & a vibrant lifestyle.
