PhD Position in Veterinary Anesthesiology

The Department of Clinical Sciences at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Université de Montréal, is seeking a PhD candidate for a research project in veterinary anesthesiology.
The project will investigate changes in electroencephalographic (EEG) activity associated with anesthesia in rabbits and characterize EEG responses under different experimental conditions. The PhD candidate will participate in the experimental work, data collection and analysis, interpretation of results, literature review, and preparation and dissemination of scientific work.
The position is primarily intended for candidates holding a degree in veterinary medicine with a strong interest in anesthesia and veterinary anesthesiology research. Previous clinical or research experience in veterinary anesthesia will be considered a significant asset. Scientific rigor, autonomy, and an interest in experimental research and scientific communication are expected.
Financial support will be provided in accordance with Université de Montréal and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine policies and the funding arrangements of the project.
