The role involves assisting with the assessment, treatment and management of small animal surgical patients, including surgical preparation, anaesthesia, post-operative care and patient discharge. You will support the Soft Tissue, Orthopaedic Surgery and Anaesthesia services, contribute to emergency and critical care cases, and assist in teaching final-year veterinary students.

You will participate in all aspects of the services, including a weekend/weeknight on-call rota. The position offers valuable experience in surgery, anaesthesia, critical care and clinical teaching, and provides excellent preparation for specialist training or residency programmes.
