Bristol Vet Specialists (BVS) is seeking a residency-trained Anaesthetist to join our busy, multidisciplinary referral hospital. You will work alongside 5 Anaesthesia Specialists, 3 residents and a large, dedicated anaesthesia nursing team, managing a varied and complex caseload.
The Role
- Drive clinical excellence, innovation and patient safety while supporting the development of residents, interns and nurses.
- Collaborate across specialties on advanced procedures, including Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER), atrial decompression and other cardiac interventions.
- Provide anaesthesia expertise across our hospital and wider referral network, with opportunities to work at a local equine hospital.
About You
- Residency-trained in Veterinary Anaesthesia (minimum); Diplomate status preferred.
- Collaborative, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and mentoring.
- Committed to improving clinical outcomes, patient safety and efficiency.
