This is a three-year standard European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA) residency. A major portion of the three-year programme will be spent on clinical rotations in small animal anaesthesia and analgesia on site, but externships in ECVAA training centres or satellite training centres for large animal and exotic components will also be required.

This full-time post will run from Spring 2025. There is a shared 1 in 3 out of hours rota under a senior clinician’s supervision.

Applicants should be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to practice in the United Kingdom and should have graduated from an institution that has been approved by the European Association of Veterinary Education Establishments (EAVEE). A thorough knowledge of both conversational and medical English is essential.
