Duration: 3 years

The Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine anesthesia department is excited to announce they have recently obtained funding for an additional 3-year ACVAA-approved residency position. The anesthesia faculty is committed to creating a program that supports all aspects of the resident training including clinical, didactic, research, and teaching while maintaining a work-life balance. The program goals include resident preparation for the qualifying and certifying examinations of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia and the promotion of clinical excellence in veterinary anesthesiology through clinical, didactic, and research opportunities. This includes daily anesthesiology service rounds, weekly house officer rounds, weekly anesthesiology resident rounds, and specialty-focused resident labs. Residents will be encouraged to attend pertinent scientific meetings and present original research. Our high caseload and a huge variety of cases allow residents to get the number and quality of cases that are needed for excellent experience and training. Applicants will be required to submit a letter of intent and curriculum vitae.

Applicants should also arrange copies of transcripts, English language scores (if applicable), and three (3) letters of reference. The complete application should be submitted by January 30th, 2025, via vscsrecruiting@cvm.tamu.edu or through mail:
