SAQ challenge

Calling all ECVAA exam candidates: Invitation to join the SAQ challenge!

This “challenge” consists of a “club” where exam candidates are taught technique to answer SAQs. This is based on a tried and tested system developed for the primary FRCA exam (which is the closest medical equivalent of our anaesthesia diploma exam) and has demonstrated repeated success, with the FRCA candidates achieving very high pass rates.

In order to participate, candidates will require a printer, a scanner and the motivation to practice SAQ exam questions.

The “SAQ challenge”, will commence on 5th March and finish on 30th July 2018. Participation will be anonymous, requiring participating each member of a group to create SAQs and model answers, to answer papers under exam conditions and to correct SAQ papers. The aim is NOT to improve your knowledge, but only to improve your technique in answering SAQs.

Any third year resident or candidate to sit the exam in 2018 who is interest in participating should contact us at vetspenclub@gmail.com. We will then send a booklet with more detailed information.

Best Wishes,
SAQ Team
